Education is a vital part of Tampa Bay Watch’s mission. We offer education programs that introduce estuarine ecology and habitat restoration with a conservation message. Estuary EDventures encompasses our field trip and summer camp programs hosted at our Marine Education Center in Tierra Verde, FL. Students are exposed to the wonders of our natural world through hands-on, marine science labs and immersive field experiences. Our programs aim to educate students about the Tampa Bay estuary, while empowering and encouraging them to act as environmental stewards of the bay.
Estuary EDventures is committed to the continuance of our education programs during this unprecedented time. We are excited to offer new programs that provide students the opportunity to explore the bay from inside their classroom. Whether at the Tampa Bay Watch Marine Education Center in Tierra Verde, at your school, or virtually in your classroom, we aim to continue our mission of creating memorable learning experiences and fostering future environmental stewards.
