An Evening for the Bay

Evening for the Bay is Tampa Bay Watch’s premier special event of the year. It features delicious food, complimentary beer & wine, a silent auction, live entertainment, and one of the best waterfront views in the bay area. All proceeds will benefit Tampa Bay Watch’s restoration projects and education programs.

Evening for the Bay 2020: Announcement about this year’s 14th annual event

In response to the continued effects of the pandemic in our community, and out of an abundance of caution for our friends, families, and supporters, we have changed the format of the annual Evening for the Bay event. Previously scheduled for Saturday, November 7, Evening for the Bay will not feature our traditional in-person event this year. In the coming weeks we’ll be announcing a new state-of-the-art virtual auction event to provide critical support for our programs and mission.

Evening for the Bay guests or sponsors are asked if you are able to support Tampa Bay Watch, please consider sponsorship at your traditional level, and know how grateful we are for your support as we navigate the challenging months ahead.

If you would like to donate an item to the virtual auction, please contact Tiana Kirby at tkirby@tampabaywatch.org.

Tampa Bay Watch’s 13th Annual  Evening for the Bay presented by

Tampa Bay Watch and Progressive Insurance thank the guests and supporters who helped make the 13th Annual Evening for the Bay the most exciting year on record!

As each guest stepped onto the red carpet, they were greeted with the sights and sounds of a bustling Vegas scene tucked into the hidden gem of the Tampa Bay Watch Marine and Education Center. Bonefish Grill and TradeWinds Island Resorts delighted with fine buffet stations while specialty cocktails flowed, thanks to Cooper’s Hawk Winery, Great Bay Distributors, Kozuba & Sons Distillery, and Old St. Pete.

The Tampa Bay Yacht Management High Roller’s Casino was alive with supporters who tossed the dice for Coastal Restoration and friends gathering around tables overlooking the bay to be enchanted by the tunes of Frank Sinatra. Expansive silent and live auctions were the highlight of the evening, with over $145,000 being raised for the mission of Tampa Bay Watch! All monies raised will benefit year-round projects and programs.

On behalf of the staff of Tampa Bay Watch, we hope to see you next year for the 14th Annual Evening for the Bay on November 7, 2020!
