Education

Inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards

Our Programs

At Tampa Bay Watch, we believe education is key to nurturing environmental stewardship. Through our education programs, we bring the marvels of estuarine ecology and habitat restoration to life with dynamic, hands-on learning experiences.

Located at our Auer Marine Education Center in Tierra Verde, FL and Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center on the St. Pete Pier, our programs immerse students in the world of marine science, offering unforgettable field trips and camps that spark a passion for conservation and empower young minds to become guardians of the Tampa Bay estuary.

Education Locations

Tampa Bay Watch is expanding the horizons of environmental education with immersive programs at two distinct locations:

A young girl and a man looking at a display of coral and fish in an aquarium.
A group of people kayaking on a calm, greenish body of water near a dock and a large building with a tower, surrounded by trees, with a distant shoreline and cloudy sky.
Map showing locations in Tampa Bay area: Discovery Center on the St. Pete Pier, and Auer Marine Education Center at Tierra Verde, with surrounding Gulf of Mexico, Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg, and Gulfport regions labeled.

Each site provides the ideal backdrop for interactive learning experiences.
