Camps

Exploring the wonders of our natural world through hands-on education and outdoor experiences

Tampa Bay Watch proudly offers enriching spring break and summer camps for young adventurers at two locations: Auer Marine Education Center in Tierra Verde and the Discovery Center on the  St. Pete Pier. These camps blend hands-on environmental education with exciting outdoor activities, ensuring a memorable and educational experience for every participant. Whether exploring the natural beauty of Tierra Verde or the St. Pete Pier, our camps provide the perfect setting for fun, friendship, and discovery.

Camp offerings

Summer Camp Scholarships

Our camp scholarship program offers free camp tuition to a limited number of students, awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Candidates must meet qualifying criteria and complete an application process to be considered for an award. Applications and supporting materials can be submitted through May 3. Whether it’s a child’s first time on a boat or first time holding a sea star, we believe every child deserves the invaluable experience that summer camp offers!

Ages 6-8, 9-12, 13-15

What to expect

Hosted at the Auer Marine Education Center in Tierra Verde, our Estuary EDventures summer camp program is a fun-filled, hands-on learning adventure focused on marine ecology.
