Resiliency Campaign 2024

Thank you for considering an end-of-year gift to Tampa Bay Watch!

We hope you and your family are well and on the road to recovery from Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The strength of these storms impacted many in our communities, and the effects will last for years. Despite the devastation, there is optimism in knowing our work at Tampa Bay Watch continues to help make a difference.

Our restoration initiatives protect our coastline from storms and erosion while providing habitats for species that help clean our waters. The recent hurricanes demonstrate why we need these shoreline practices more than ever.

Your support, no matter how big or small, will be gratefully received!

An amazing GivingTuesday! With the generous support from our amazing TBW community, we raised $42,555 on Giving Tuesday! Special thanks Court & April James, and Chip Webster & Dr. Debra Doud. Their matching gift challenges DOUBLED the impact and brought the total to an incredible $82,555!

This is the most TBW has ever raised on GivingTuesday, and it’s all thanks to YOU.
Your support allows us to continue restoring habitats and educating the next Tampa Bay stewards. We sincerely thank you for believing in our mission and being part of this historic moment!

“Our Living Shoreline project at Lassing Park in St. Petersburg performed exceptionally well during the recent hurricanes, fulfilling its purpose of providing resilience and protection to the coastal shoreline at the northern end of the park. As we survey Tampa Bay after the storms, we are pleased to find that the areas where we have implemented living shoreline projects demonstrated greater resilience and adaptability to surge and wind conditions caused by the storms. This experience confirms that living shorelines are a vital solution for protecting and buffering our coastlines. This is resiliency in action!”
