ESTUARY EDVENTURES SUMMER CAMP

Estuary EDventures’ summer camp program is a fun-filled, hands-on learning adventure focused on marine ecology. Under the guidance of our professional education staff, campers will participate in boating trips, snorkeling excursions through native habitats, and collecting unique species inhabiting the estuary. This is an experience that your child will not want to miss! Scholarships are available to a limited number of students (see application below).

In compliance with CDC guidelines, Tampa Bay Watch has implemented a COVID-19 Preparedness Plan and procedures in response to the pandemic. This includes: extensive cleaning protocol, health screenings, social distancing, face covering requirements, and limited program capacities. All Tampa Bay Watch visitors and program participants are expected to follow the same policies. Through this cooperative effort, we hope to maintain the health and safety of all.

Estuary EDventures Junior Counselor Program

Our Estuary EDventures Junior Counselor program is offered during our summer camp season to high school students interested in pursuing a career in marine science or education. This summer volunteer opportunity provides valuable experience in the marine science field and volunteer service hours. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the junior counselor program has been temporarily suspended. We hope to resume this volunteer opportunity in 2022. Estuary EDventures Education Internship

Estuary EDventures offers summer camp internships for currently enrolled and recent college graduates. The summer camp internship provides valuable facilitation skills, field experience, and an expansive estuarine ecology knowledge base through various marine science programs.
